Virginia Natural Gas Spreads Holiday Cheer with 'Energy to Give'

Virginia Natural Gas is spreading warmth, comfort and joy to families in need through our ‘Energy to Give’ campaign. This holiday season we have partnered with several charitable organizations in the Hampton Roads area to make spirits bright.

Throughout November and December, VNG collected two truckloads of food for the Mayflower Marathon Food Drive, volunteered at the area’s food bank and purchased gifts and other holiday wish list items for 70 Angels this year through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.

Our team members will be volunteering at the Salvation Army Christmas Depot, serving as Santa’s helpers distributing Angel Tree gifts, helping families shop for presents, stocking shelves and keeping the shopping area clean and organized. In addition, the employees at our New Kent office partnered for their 4th year with Hanover Safe Place to adopt a family of three through the organization’s holiday program. In January, we will be gifting 240 coats to the Chesapeake Human Services Department through Operation Warm.

We are incredibly proud of our team's dedication and generosity. Their efforts have truly made a difference in our community, and we look forward to continuing this tradition of giving in the years to come. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this holiday season special for so many families. Together, we are spreading warmth and joy, one act of kindness at a time.
